Kelvedon Hatch

Kelvedon hatch was once used as a secret bunker in the past and is located in Essex. Kelvedon hatch is basically a big underground bunker which was used during the cold war. After the cold war it wasn’t used for anything, but at the start of the 1990’s it was opened to the public and then became an extremely popular tourist attraction. If you are interested in learning more about the cold war, it’s a great place to visit since there is a museum which is dedicated to the history of the cold war, but it’s also a very good place to visit if you want to try to see some ghosts!

Ever since the museum was built at Kelvedon hatch, there have been a lot of people talking about the hatch being haunted. Kelvedon hatch was even featured on Most Haunted not so long ago, so if you want to go ghost hunting you really should think about going here. There are many stories about Kelvedon hatch. One of the most well known stories is that while the walls were being built in the bunker (with concrete) a person’s hat was found at the top of the wet concrete and that person was never seen again. To this day, nobody knows what happened to this man.

There is also a grey figure (believed to be a ghost) who was seen in just about every room that there is in Kelvedon hatch. Most people think that it’s an old, tall woman but there have been other reports of this grey figure too.
